Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you treat?
I work with adults, couples, and teens aged 14+.
Do you accept insurance?
I am in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, United, Aetna, and MGH/Brigham.
For clients wishing to submit to their insurance company for out-of-network benefits, I am happy to support you with this and talk you through the process.
Are you accepting new clients?
I am currently accepting new clients. When my caseload is full, I keep a short waitlist. If my waitlist is full, I will indicate this on my homepage.
What is your schedule?
I see clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Do you have an office?
At this time I am only treating clients via telehealth (MA and CO) and in outdoor spaces (CO only).
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 24 hours’ notice for missed appointments. For late cancellations, a cancellation fee applies. Exceptions are made in emergency situations.
How long will our therapy last?
There is no fixed timeline for therapy. If we have achieved your goals, or if progress has plateaued, we will discuss graduation, or referral elsewhere if needed. This is always a collaborative conversation.
Do you offer every-other-week therapy?
My therapy always begins on a weekly basis. As the treatment progresses, you and I may determine that biweekly therapy would be more appropriate.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Therapy is required by law to be confidential. Exceptions are made in certain emergency situations.
Do you work with medication providers?
I collaborate with several medication providers. If you are taking medication and need a new prescriber, or if a first-time medication consult is needed, I can help you connect with a provider.
